Events
Whether for a wedding, festival or conference, travel by airplane and car are usually our main sources of GHG emissions. A growing number of organizations are aware of the carbon footprint associated with their events and are seeking out new ways to improve their environmental performance.
A carbon-neutral event (also known as sustainable event) reduces GHG emissions by favouring public transportation and composting of unused food, and by reducing the energy consumed by buildings. ZEROCO2 offers a means to offset residual GHGs through the planting of trees and the purchase of carbon credits.

* When choosing the 50% trees/50% carbon credits option, you must offset the equivalent of at least half a tonne (0.5 tonne) of CO2. The minimum amount per transaction is $20 for offsetting with trees, and $10 for offsetting with carbon credits. For each transaction featuring a tree component, the number of trees planted by ZEROCO2 is always rounded up.
